Cruises are also an option and there are ones that not only explore the coastal region of Croatia but also other areas of the Mediterranean.

It has plently of sights to see from Trg Bena Jelacica which is the main square in the city to Dolac market. There are also a number of events that are held throughout the year and these start with the Snow Queen Trophy, an FIS Skiing World Cup slalom event, at the beginning of January.

During the summer months of June, and July there are a number of notable events such as Amimafest which is a world festival of animated film. There is a annual Rally, Lake Jarun is the home to T Mobile’s INmusic festival and there is a ten day long festival, C’est is d’Best, which has musicians, actors, street performers and dancers taking part in various acts across the city.
